ROGER RANSON


Starting in journalism with the UK’s leading provincial daily newspaper, Roger Ranson moved into freelance and public relations activities and increasingly focused on farming, food and rural issues. He became founder partner of BHR Communications and also founder director the European Communications Unit, working with some of the largest multi-national organisations. Involved in developing local commercial radio in East Anglia. Producer of Pro Veterinario audio CPD programme for the veterinary profession for 20 years. Director of Apex Television, producer of commercial video programmes. Has a degree in biology and genetics as well as journalism.

MARTIN LOOKER


Before joining BHR Communications, Martin Looker pursued a career in agricultural journalism, writing for three national magazines and also reporting for overseas publications. He travelled abroad extensively before becoming editor of a national farming magazine, where he was involved in launching and running a national exhibition and two leading industry award schemes. At BHR, he has used this experience to help British and international companies launch and publicise their products, ranging from genetically-improved pigs and poultry vaccines to farm buildings and equipment. Feature writing, speech-writing and newsletter production are a speciality.
